A group of corporate trainers at Lovely Professional University (LPU) recently mentored 50 officials from the industry giant 'Panasonic' during a four-day executive development program called 'Manthan'. The program covered the topic of “Customer Service Excellence” and was held at the university campus.
The Department of Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of LPU designed a curriculum and various activities for the growth of the visiting mentees. The outcome of the conduction exhibited strong subject matter expertise through participant centred training strategy, under gamified approach.
The training focused on developing a powerful mindset, conducting real-time gap analysis, and building activities to solve problems and improve results. On the second to last day, mentees went on a 5 km jungle walk from the campus point to its green Agri-fields to foster their love for nature. LPU Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal flagged off the walk with the release of white balloons, symbolizing peace within. The Panasonic team was headed by its Chief Human Resource Officer Akash Sangole.

Embracing the mantra of innovation in people, products and processes; it has an experienced team of corporate trainers engaged in diagnosing, designing and delivering workable solutions for Industry needs. Various recreational open-air activities, bonfires, DJ programs were also organized in between to mollify the minds.
At HRDC, Dean Prof Dr Sunaina Ahuja informed that the mentees acquire knowledge that can be transferred easily to their workplace.
